Just added my 10th project to my project page which is a window seat for my dolls. A simple project using cardboard, doll packaging and lots of different types of paper.

A Boutique Diorama
Just completed my 8th project and am pretty pleased with the results. I started with an Amazon box
And ended up with the following
I recommend using boxes and Amazon boxes that your dolls are delivered in particular because the length of the box will make it a perfect Diorama (height wise) backdrop and if you don’t want the display anymore, you can reuse the box as storage for all your Diorama parts to play with later.
Latest Addition
Just updated the project page with Cupid Barbie. She was created some time ago and was stuck in one of my cupboards till this past weekend when I was looking for a Harry Potter doll that I knew I had stashed somewhere. Oh well, I didn’t find Harry but on the bright side, found Cupid instead.
Latest Updates
I have just added an update to the Projects page with my own version of a Hello Kitty Barbie and also added an entry on the OOAK doll page with some photos and information on the Barbie 40th Anniversary Taipei Collection Barbie which I purchased many years ago.
Please check them out and send me your comments if any!
Potential Diorama Idea
As some of you may know, I love creating dioramas for my dolls. I’ve only creating three so far – Space is definitely an issue for me but I find it very satisfying putting them together. What makes a diorama great are miniatures that add that little element of realism and interest. Well I got the set pictured below because I wanted to create a Christmas morning scene for my dolls. (I know it’s way to early to be thinking of Christmas 😜) but in the end I didn’t get around to doing it yet – maybe Christmas 2018?
This set was issued in 1998 but I just got it late last year. I haven’t seen anything this cute in a long while. Just check out all the gifts – not only are there gifts for Barbie and Ken but for Tommy and Kelly as well.
