My Poppy Parker Collection

I was looking through my collection of Poppy Parker dolls and realized that most of my Poppy Parker dolls are brunettes. I have 3 blond dolls: the blond doll from the Looks A Plenty, the white-blond Off-Beat Poppy Parker and Midnight Decadence Poppy Parker which I am planning to sell.

Below are some photos of the dolls in my collection. One of my latest purchases is the Coney Island Saturday Poppy Parker. I got her nude but managed to find a Barbie sailor outfit that works just as well.

My last 3 dolls are Springtime in Paris (planning to sell), Co-ed Cutie and Gardens of Versailles Poppy Parker. I can’t wait to redress the latter but haven’t found the right outfit yet:)

Midnight Decadence Poppy Parker

I just got this doll a couple of weeks ago but didn’t debox her because I wasn’t sure whether I was going to keep her. In fact, she was one of the dolls I was going to sell to reduce my collection of Poppy Parker dolls. However, this video has got me reconsidering my decision. Integrity’s Fashion Week Convention Part 3

Yes, I know 3 posts in one day is unheard of but I just wanted to highlight the accessory packs.

The first is Heads Up Accessories Pack which contains 2 heads.

Head A: Bright Copper Red Hair, FR White Skin Tone

Head B: Sunshine Yellow Hair, Japan Skin Tone

Again reminiscent of mod era  Barbie and the heads and hairpieces that came in the Hair Fair Barbie set.

The second accessory set is called Boots ‘n Baubles and is really cool.

Integrity’s Fashion Week Convention Part 2

The 2019 Style Lab Collection: Poppy Parker… She’s A Real Doll!

Each doll in the Style Lab is sold nude and outfits, carded dresses, and accessory packs are sold separately.

I love all of them but am especially keen on Kicky, Groovy, Keen and Fab. These dolls are already available on the secondary market and way out of my budget so I can only dream about them. I know I might be unpopular for writing what I am going to write next but these dolls remind me about a lot of the Barbie dolls that were released during her iconic mod era and maybe that’s why I am so in love with them.

Fashions are sold separately and they are a joy to behold. Not only do the first 6 outfits come with matching accessories, but you can also be sure of the quality because its made by Integrity dolls. I am finding it very difficult to pick a favourite 🙂

Integrity’s Fashion Week Convention Part 1

I have been receiving updates from the convention and the photos I have seen of all the dolls are to die for. The line-up of dolls seems endless so I am simplifying my life and just reporting on Poppy Parker dolls which is my favourite doll from Integrity.

Young Romantic Poppy Parker with an edition size of 700 dolls. She has gorgeous wavy dark brown hair and has an articulated Hungarian skin tone body.

 

The next doll is called Kimono Go Go Poppy Parker. She also an edition size of 700 and her skin tone is FR white. I love that her hair is styled in two ponytails. Very cute.

Sign of the Times Brunette Poppy Redressed

This doll is a beauty and this is my first attempts at redressing her. I know I have not done her justice.

I redressed her in the outfit from Winter Evening Barbie and although it looks okay, I am not too fond of the shiny button in the middle of her waist.

 

The second outfit I put her in was a Barbie Loony Toons outfit. What do you guys think of the outfits. Let me know if you can and stay tuned for more outfit changes 🙂

 

 

Looks a Plenty Poppy Parker

This set finally arrived and I am very pleased with the dolls. I bought the body completer set as well so now I have 3 complete dolls and 9 Poppy Parker dolls in my collection.

I know that this is not a fantastic picture of the 9 dolls but I just wanted to see head shots of all the dolls and the different hair colors.

I started to do a video of me unboxing the dolls but I wasn’t happy with the result. Fortunately, I came across a video done by another collector and have used that instead. She’s only done a video on the first look so far but she did a great job so here it is.

Midnight Decadence Poppy Parker is the 10th Anniversary souvenir doll designed by David Buttry. It is also the very 1st W Club Exclusive Doll of the 2019 membership year. What a beauty! The doll is expected to be shipped out in the fall of 2019. I know it’s a bit late for the first club doll of 2019 but it gives collectors like me a little time to save some money because the Looks a Plenty Poppy Parker giftset is due to be shipped out soon.

Sunny Slickers Poppy Parker dressed in a 1997 BMR outfit

This outfit was issued in 1997 under the Barbara Millicent Roberts Collection. The City Slicker outfit came with all the elements in the following picture (minus the doll and chain belt). According to the description on Barbie.com that piece was never included in the set so I’m relieved to know that I haven’t lost it.

Finally some time for my dolls

I know I’ve been away for quite some time and for that I apologise. I’ve been attending evening class for the last few months and had to devote my time to completing assignments. Thankfully that is now over 🙂

In today’s post, I’d like to highlight some of my Poppy Parker dolls. I don’t have many because they are pricy but I currently have 2 NRFB dolls which are Co-ed Cutie and Lemon Frost Poppy Parker.

In addition, I have the dolls pictured below.
